If you want an extremely cheap option to stop hood flutter, you could just put a zip tie around the rubber part of the OEM hood latch to prevent it from stretching too much and hold the hood down tighter. Zip ties will eventually break, but they're cheap and easy to replace. A friend of mine did this and it's worked well so far.

It"s not about price ...I was just wondering if it makes any different as to which one is a better

A lot of JK owners get the Daystar hood latches, which simply replace the soft rubber isolator with stiffer rubber. They only cost $25, which is why they're so popular, but they are not adjustable like the more expensive options. The Daystar hood latches also require more force to close than the OEM hood latch, but look just like the stock ones. The Drake Off Road ones have an adjustable turnbuckle and attach with a quick release pin.

I just looked at the new Drake locking latches. They are cheap junk. If you don't need locking latches, I concur with Dorian. If you do, I think Rugged Ridge and Smittybilt both sell the same ones in different packaging.

Drake Off Roadâ„¢ Hood Hold Downs are what I have on mine. They are adjustable to how tight you want to hold down your hood. Also adds a nice look compared to the ugly rubber and plastic factory ones which will fade.
