You remove the door panel and the mirror is 2 pieces, after you remove the bezel from the panel the control knob will be free. Then there are 2 screws that hold the mirror to the door, remove that and then remove the base and you will see how to remove the glass. I don't know if that's what you wanted or to just replace the entire assembly. Either way you can get it done now and good luck.
