untill my vette warms up my tach will not function.how can this be corrected inexpensivly

when i start my car on cold daysor after it has sat all night,my tach will not work for a while

Hello, It sounds like it might be time for you to change out the tach filter. This should not set you back very much and could be a good fix for your car. Best of luck! CarGrrl
