Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My boyfriends truck has been stuck since
last Thursday or something and his
friend thought it was something in the
distributor so he's replaced the rotor
button, his wires, his coil , his distributor
cap and I think that's it. It will try to start
but it will not turn over and run.

Maybe a fuel blockage. Try the fuel pump or fuel filter and injectors or carboratetors if it has those or look for a bad ground connection within the fuel areas.

If it try,s to start, then it is more than likely getting fire, tell them to check the for fuel,if it trys, to start as you say,it is starving for fuel, check the fuel filter and the fuel pump.
