do not misunderstand me, I do not intend to fix my car, I just want to know what
could be the cause, to be able to determine an approximate cost of repairs,

try replacing the fuel filter first. test the fuel pressure next . pressure regulator if still low pressure. if not, then there could be bigger problems (fuel pump or catalytic conv.).
