Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Price includes $1,000 Megel Trade Assistance. Must trade 1999 or newer
vehicle.
This combined with dealer and doc fees takes a great deal and makes it poor
real fast.

OK so I had to Google what "Megel Trade Assistance" is - Megel is the name of a Chevy dealership, and I assume "Megel Trade Assistance" is just their pet name for a trade in program they have at their store. $1,000 for a 1999 (or newer) trade-in isn't that great, unless it's a real heap, but that is their prerogative. You don't have to shop there. AFAIK dealerships can list any sort of price incentive on this or any web site. But anytime you deal with a dealership, doesn't hurt to get as many reviews as possible.

That was definitely incomplete. Essentially the car is 1,000 less than advertised, because a trade-in is already being factored into the price. Your right it would probably only be a starting point for the trade of that age. I am not trading in a car not that it should matter for an advertised price.

That is deceptive tho, a state's Attorney General's office monitors deceptive practices like this. Maybe send them some email links to their ads.
