Windshield wiper and radio only work when key is in auxiliary position, but won't work when the car is turned on. Any ideas what could be wrong?

1991 chevy cavalier with 83k miles. Runs great, only issue is the wipers and radio won't
work when the car is turned on, however they both work when the car is off and the key is
in the aux position

Sounds like your ignition switch is bad
