why are they all american cars

they all seem american cars why?

there's alot of cars that are solely European also. Renault, Peugot, Citroen, Fiat and many other smaller companies. These car companies Americans have never even heard about, whereas Europeans have heard or know GM's, Ford's, and Chrysler's car companies.
