06 Dodge Stratus SXT 2.6L V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bad water pump. Need temporary fix until I can get
them$ correct fix. Disable husband. 1 income
household of 4 is there a way to install a separate
additional water pump to temporarily cool the water
going in and out of the engine

The correct thing to do is to not drive it, if it gets too hot it will blow a bleach gasket if it hasn’t already. Some shops have a payment plan, so check it out.

If you're ingenious and industrious enough to rig up a temp water pump, you're equally able to replace the existing pump in that POS you're driving. And yes, as Gene said, there are payment plans that probably would work. And yes, as BUC said, Vote for the INCUMBENTS. They'll fix everything... for themselves.
