Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Monte SS is using oil.  No drips on the floor and the exhaust pipes are a clean as a new car.  The car does not smoke so where is the oil going?

Probably a little more than that. The car runs great and the tailpipes are very clean inside and it never smokes.

Depending on the miles you could be burning it from oil getting by your rings on your pistons or the more likely reason would be oil droplets getting sucked through your PCV system and into your intake. Its not enough to see coming out your exhaust but it adds up over time. Heck my car burns 1qt every 1000-1500 miles and its not considered an issue until its greater that 1 qt every 1000 miles.
