Bronco II

Asked by tomnz66 Nov 01, 2014 at 04:46 PM about the Ford Bronco II

Question type: General

Driving down a rough road and my 88 Bronco II just stopped running. It has spark and fuel in and out of the fuel pump and out of the filter. Also has fuel to the pressure regulator. Some one cut out the inertia switch. Replaced the fuel pump relay.

Does the engine still turn over after that happens? .........................................................I had an one that would die whenever I drove over railroad tracks. Turned out to be weak starter solenoid that was breaking contact. Another one had a poor ground connection that would open up "just enough" at times to break the electrical connection, usually at the worst possible times.
