would be fun to see if anyone else gets better. I got darn close tonight to 24 but is anyone else doin better? it seems to me that the series II got better gas mileage is this true? does anybody do better than that with the Series III?

Just took a 350 mile trip in my 97 with 225k on it, made it on 10gal of gas. That's right 35mpg, have three friends with 97-98 'Sabre's one is a mechanic they all report the same mileage, and the mechanics customers with this model report about the same. Of course that is highway mileage, a 50/50 mix I'll average 28 or so.
