B6 Engine into a B5 model

Just wondering is it possible to put a 1.9TDI engine out of a B6 into a B5 model Audi A4??

not sure why you would do that but i would guess yes all the cars have the same engines installed so if you have a 1.8 in the b5 model it should fit and mount the same. Don't take my word on this tho as im not sure.
