I have rebuilt the regulators(crank mechanism) in both 1/4 windows in my 63 falcon convertible. The second one went much faster than the first. First remove the felt strips to help open up the area. To remove the window you will need to remove all the bolts holding the regulator and pull the clips holding the rollers to the window. You may want to replace any worn or seized rollers. To reinstall the window, reverse the procedure and you may want a third hand to hold everything together to install the rollers and regulator.
