smart fortwo Forum : “could a better faster performance engine be installed into the smart fortwo?”

anything can be installed, it all depends on money. a hayabusa is a definite possibility, and would probably be one of the cheaper swaps, along with something like a 13B rotary. but you would probablly need custom engine mounts, custom driveshafts, custom almost everything engine related. which would cost abit of money.

but i have seen even things like an LS2 RWD conversion on a leland mini before, so anything is possible with enough time.
