Dropping a HEMI in to a '72 RR

Asked by Woody2sr Aug 23, 2010 at 12:58 PM about the 1972 Plymouth Road Runner

Question type: Car Customization

I have '72 RR which came with a 400 4-spd. I want to drop in a '68 426 HEMI engine. Can anyone tell me what I need to change to accomplish this? Also, is their a good source of finding parts?
Thank you,
Tom

you need to change out the k-member and motor mounts for sure, may also want to beef up the rest of the power train as well. I would check at yearone.com.
