i have put in 7 liters of transmission fluid in , it would not move when in gear just that the
RPMS would move pretty high yet the car did not move in gear , all the gears nothing

if you are handy, and want to replace the tranny yourself, look for a good used one, GOOD being the operative word- with a guarantee that it will work once you have taken the time to put it in- most people just take their cars to transmission shops- that will cost a little more-

I have a 1994 chevrolet cavalier z24. I have had 3 transmissions put into my car since January, 2015. I am still having the same problem 3 months later. The transmission is slipping when I put the car from park into drive. It goes into neutral. Can this be caused by the inside gear shifter if the shifter is not connected properly to the transmission? what would cause a 2004 cavalier to be getting to much gas but not enough air? 1 Answer
