Water pump

Asked by Ron May 11, 2018 at 11:23 AM about the 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 72 cutlass with the 350.  I cant find the correct water pump, the
engine sn reads its a 73?!?  Did olds run out of motors??  Was it a warranty
issue?  I’m stumped

Looks like its GM part number 231065. Without AC. It’s height is only 5.09 versus the standard 5.57 or 5.95 I’ve tried cross referencing it on Gates website, only to find nothing but the GM part number.
