I Have a Cavalier 2001 2.2l that turns on but like in 3-4 seconds turns off..The car is been parked up there for 1.5 years...Any suggestions?

I put one gallon of gas in the tank and according to the gauge it had a 1/4 tank

Could be a bad dude in the computer. Look in the manual and see which on is the the gauges. Try and get a new one. If that don't work. Try a new fuel pump. Or get a new car.
