Brake lights on and car won't accelerate!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys. So my 2008 Altima coupe s is having
trouble. I was driving today and it was going great
untill I went to speed up and the car wouldn't
accelerate like usual. It wasn't jerking or sputtering
but just seemed like I was driving a golf cart. Lol. I
looked in my rear view and also noticed that my
brake lights were staying off.... wtf right. So I pulled
both sensors by the brake pedal and manually
pushed those in and it still wouldn't turn the lights
off, even with the car off they still stayed on! I read
somewhere else that if the sensor goes bad it can
make the Car go into limp mode and cause it not to
accelerate quickly? I'm in need of some good
advice on how to solve this problem.

So today I went and unplugged the battery and it actually reset it and the light went off and the car is faster. But now my brakes are very touchy and it slows down when I let off the gas. I mean like it doesn't coast it just feels the someone's pushing on the brakes.

Does it pull right or left? brake caliper can do this, the spring breaks gets under the pad, holds it firm to the disc, any overheating on any one wheel or all?
