Truck shift up to 2nd no problem but wont shift to 3rd unless your rpms are really high and wont shift past that

The passenger seat (captan chair) on my 2 door 96 GMC sierra ext cab has a seat back lever that doesnt lock into place. Ideas on how to fix it?Thank you 1 Answer

Extended cab Sierra 1500 Z71 4x4. The seat lever has to be turned to let folks out of back seat. It quit catching in the upright position.

Well my dad thought it would be funny and disconnect something on my 1986 gmc sierra classic and all my truck does is crank but wont turn over. What do I do?

I have a gmc sierra 2007 The blower motor only works in the first 4 positions and not number 5. I have replaced the control panel and the resitor or reostat which is conected to the fan motor with brand new parts. I also noticed that the panel lights up but not the knobs. 200 dollars in parts for a partial result. What am I missing? 2 Answers
