turning regulator off in the propane gas rank

It's difficult to remove the propane gas tank completely... also when taking the regulator off anyone knows if it turns clockwise or counter clockwise..

Turn it clock wise to get it off. You must be asking about the regulater that run your appliances, it so...then you turn it clockwise. If there are small lines cut into the nut surface of the fitting you turn it clockwise. These small line on the fitting are called "P.O.L." fittings. "Put on Left" so you turn it to the right to get it off.
