What's the differences? What would have to change or be modified to make a top from a '97 to fit on a '90 ???

Sean - Those are two different generation Jeeps so you are on your own. If you are determined to make the wrong top fit I suggest Duct tape - lots of it!

I was asking for someone else. That wants my used top for there older jeep. I bought a brand new top for ours. But ty
