Clutch pedal bump

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Occasionally whenever I depress the clutch in my 1999 9-3, it feels like it catches on something. It doesn't happen very often when I drive, but when my dad drove it, it happened many times. I looked under the dash and it appears to be catching on the plastic of the dashboard that is directly to the left of the pedal arm. I don't know if this is the only cause of it or there is more to it. Is there more to the problem, and is there anything I can do about it?
