side air bag

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had some body work done to drivers side door, now air bag light is on. Any suggestions? Leaving on trip in the AM...

They probably disconnected the airbag when they were doing the bodywork. If the airbag is disconnected while the battery is still connected the airbag light will come on. You'll have to get someone to clear the SRS system fault code and rearm the airbag.
