My 1990 Mazda RX7 has started showing the "AIRBAG" icon when I start the car. It goes off after about 15 minutes. What gives

Might be intermittent short/open issue for a seat sensor or the latch for the seat belt. Don't know how hard it would be to clean but as far as the seat belt latch goes I'd try some CRC electrical contact cleaner in there and give that a shot. If that does not pan out then maybe a break in the seat sensor if applicable. Good Luck!
