I have a 1994 ford f250 the serpintine belt ripped . I put on a new one and it's squealing and there's smoke coming from ac pump?? Do I need a new wate pump ???

The a/c compressor is locked up. It will burn the belt off. You need to replace the a/c compressor or ask the parts store if they sell a belt for your truck without a/c.

Clutch will not freewill if it was engaged. Remeber the a/c cycles when the defrost is on.

If your lucky. I have seen them glowing and disconnected where you could take a sledgehammer and not disengage. Literally welded together. I agree with you on the set up but I also know from experience that if they have ran very long plugged up and engaged they will weld themselves together.
