where is the coupler on buick supercharger located in the nose or tail?

the noise appears to be coming from the tail end of the supercharger and I was told that this may be the problem  the noise goes away upon acceleration there is 220000 mi on the car  a garage diagnosed a "rattle" in it a while back

Facing the vehicle the coupling is on your left where the belt is located.

In addition, one has to totally remove the Supercharger in order to replace this $14.00 item. I find it easy to disconnect the right side items ,then the injectors using a hanger to life and hold them out the way.. disconnect the alternator , the blots holding down the S/C and gently sliding the S/C to your right. The coupling is located just behind the pulley. SEMPER FI>>Good Luck
