how do I replace the abs control module

Your going to have to have a brake shop do this, just a matter of pulling the old one out and putting in the new one, but the problem is that you would never get it bled out. They have a computer program that has to be run to work the pistons inside the ABS unit in order to bleed out.

If I understand....you just want to change the control module (computer) that is unplug, remove, install replacement, and plug it in. However if you are talking about the ABS controller with the hydraulic brake lines going to it, then it the brakes need to be bled to get any air out. I would also recommend you have the brake fluid flushed.... brake fluid absorbs moisture, moisture in the fluid rust ferrous parts and corrodes aluminum....this rust and corrosion is floating in the brake fluid and will damage seals in the master cylinder and in particular the ABS controller, cheap insurance to keep the ABS system working properly.
