truck will only start if i use the silonoild to start it.Why? it has new battery and silonoid.

truck will only start if you use a screw driver on the new silonoild it also has a new battery. Why whats wrong?

There could be a problem with the electrical connection coming from the ignition to energize the solenoid. Check connections for proper contact. Then check the low voltage wire coming from the ignition to see if is energizing the solenoid when key is turned to start.
