I need to replace my plate lights so I could get my 2000 Ford F150 inspected. When I put the bulbs in, turned on my headlights to make sure I got them working. I have now taillights now & when I turned off the headlights. My headlight would not go off. They only way to get them off is to take my battery cable off. I have a 2000 F150 Extended Cab 4.2L V-6. On the drivers side firewall is a cylinder and out of the bottom are two vacuum lines. One of them comes from the bottom of a black fluid refill reservoir and runs to under the throttle body. It has collapsed and is making the truck run rough. Is that part of the Smog System? It's on the firewall, almost sitting on the top left of the brake booster and in front of the clutch refill reservoir. any ideas what vacuum line that is? Thanks. 2 Answers
