depends on many things how well or unwell its been looked after ,,the qaulity of oils used etc etc but the fact its done 220000 says its been cared for so keep caring for it and hope for many more miles.

Bmw engines have very good engine construction so they last long with good maintenance and care. some engines are better than others as in many other makes but the one's that came with the x5 they all have very good life expentacy
