could you tell me in canadian and american dollars?  it was a 5 speed.  don't think it had air but it had a cassette, i believe.

Hello erinsmomma-- The base 1979 Honda CVCC 2-door hatchback sold for $4,499US. The 2-door sedan listed at $3,999US. I have no access to a conversion into 1979 Canadian dollars. Good luck from Bovan.

I have the original sales receipt from my 1979 Civic. According to the paperwork it sold for $3650.00. Mine originally came with the 5 speed transmisson, deluxe gauges, Houndstooth interior, etc..
