I cannot seem to find the place to put fuel .

Hinged behind fuel door. Hopefully you haven't been sitting at a gas station all this time waiting for an answer!

hmmmm- can you search it online? back then they got very tricky- hid them under bumpers, behind license plates even behind tail lights- just treat it like its a game-
