Going from a 302 to a 351 Cleveland

Asked by narrowillie Jun 08, 2016 at 06:21 AM about the 1974 Ford F-250

Question type: Car Customization

Went from a 302 points ignition to a
351 Cleveland electronic ignition
module. Is there some kind of
wirehardness available that will
replace my old wire hardness on my
truck as its lacking connection to
ignition module and distributor.
Thanks in advance to anyone that
will help.

Ford offers some harnesses for changing over to fuel injection. you might want to check and see if they offer the necessary ignition module and harness adapter for a electronic distributor. Next, possible answer is to locate a later model f250 with electronic ignition 1976 and forward for the module and harness.

You mean Ford dealer? And thanks for responding greatly Appreciate it. Thank you mark.I've been meaning to hit the wrecking yards but just haven't made it.its a good reminder having someone else tell you instead of thinking about it ...I guess ..will do.
