how do i tell the difference between a 305 and 350
in my 1990 k1500 4x4

Pull numbers off block. It should be on driver side on back corner of block where transmission mounts or you can look at your eighth vin digit if all original

It will be an H if a 305 or a R. For 350. 85th vin digit is engine identification
