1995 chevy ck 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to replace my head gaskets. After putting it
back together and getting it started it will run for a
few minutes and my gauges shiw its running hot.
Does anyone know why??

And the cooling system would need purging from the air. Did you run with the radiator cap off?
