The lever is either attached by a screw or a clip. If there is no visible screw or cover, it is likely attached by a clip on the handle. Can you post a picture? it would help.

There was a screw and it one time I could grip some pliers onto the screw and work it that way but it's since been stripped.

You could try some vice grips but it sounds like you may need to have the seat repaired by an upholstery shop.

so i put in aftermarket radio into my 02 bonneville last saturday and got it all wired up corectly it turned on he memry was saving everything was fine but last tuesday i turned my car one it worked fine but later in the day when i was driving the radio randomly turned off and didnt turn back on the next day it turned on for like a minute and turned right back off i checked all the fuses theyre all fine i checked the wiring everything is the same and the connections are solid i have no idea what the problem is and why it wont turn back on now hoping maybe someone has an answer. Brake pedal goes floor. Changed brake booster, no change. No visible leaks. Also, bled the brakes. Pulled vacuum hose off brake booster and covered with tape and I get resistance. All new pads on back and front. Confused 4 Answers

Car hasn't been started since they broke. tranny didnt slip when they broke because i was still driving in a parking spot and i got towed home.
