If you are having problems with the factory anti theft feature built into the ignition and key , you will need to re-program it by ....
1- try to start vehicle , if it won't start , but , cranks , leave the key in the run position.
2-let vehicle sit for about 10 minutes with key in on/run position , or until the "theft " light goes off
3- turn key off , then try to start vehicle.....it should start with no problems .
If you still have problems , there may be an issue with the ignition cylinder it may need replacement. The key will need to be re-programmed if the cylinder is replaced ( steps 1-3 )
