AWD vehicles usually have a badge on them on the rear cargo door. It is unlikely it was taken off but if you look under the vehicle you should see a gearbox powering the rear wheels up front by the standard FWD gearbox along with a drive shaft to the rear wheels if it is an AWD vehicle.
