getting air working again. holds good vacuum. i just need to know how much freon to charge the system with.

Factory these trucks used R-12 not R-134a. Also if you converted it then it's not to factory specs and will be hard to tell. Get the gauge that comes with the bottles and put it in the green

I calculated 41.6oz of 134a for my 1972 chevy truck factory set up.
