Tom hit the nail on the head. Your state has a Lemon Lay. File it, and perhaps you will get a new Terrain. When I had my battery constantly dyeing, my deadlier did a complete diagnostic test that took 4 hours to run if done correctly. It checked and tested everything electronic in the vehicle. Ir there was anything not working or set correctly, it should catch it. Be an ass, demand it be fixed or take it back.

Bad battery caused many different problems. Click no crank, retry on same key cycle, would catch and start. Have seen wipers wipe, washers squirt, switches from F to C on heater, would crank and start on second or third key rotation. Dealer ran the battery load test which takes 2 hrs to complete, the test aborted after 30 minutes and showed the battery was bad. Replaced no problem since.
