Question type: Car Customization

I am trying to decide on putting a supercharger on my 95 gt or get a new 302 crate engine. Which would be the best in the long run?

With that kind of output, get the engine. It'll be more cost effective, plus piece of mind.

$6995 is the price for the new vitec dohc engine, but that doesnt include the cost of a computer and chassis upgrades, Ford racing has the engines for sale now.

at the cost of dropping that much money on one of these options you will never get your money back. the car is a 95. im guessing it could use an entire suspension upgrade as well. wouldnt it be more cost effective to get a 2003 svt cobra or an even newer mustang? just a thought.
