Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have scratches on my black hard top. they are not deep but they stand out pretty much since they are white on the black finish. How can you caver them ? Is there a paint I can buy ?

you could ask the jeep dealer what's the color code for it and go look for it in Ace Hardware I guess

If you take a black sharpie, and fill in the scrtches, and then buff it out, it's difficult to see unless you're at the right angle with the light on it. At least thats what I did when I rented a Jeep in Moab and all scratched up the top. The Rental company never noticed! The glossy shine will deteriorate in the sun, but the color will stay.

i did body work and detailing for three years and its true u can use a sharpie but after a while the color will turn in to brown, there are some model paints that would work on it and then do a polish on the touch ups
