What would the cost of a fix like this be? Also what
is the complexity of this fix?

It could be the window regulators. Can get online for about 40.00/ea. If you can install yourself can save about $150-200 dollars. https://goo.gl/gF9L7g will need to get new door clips. There are videos online of install https://goo.gl/rwHNpK.
