i have a Kia Rio 2013 model , key stuck in the ignition switch i called a technician to fix the key problem after the ignition key problem fix when we trying to start the engine its not working ,

When you say he fixed the problem did he remove stuck key from ignition or replaced ignition switch ?

he removed the stuck key from ignition and fixed the same ignition switch. i already bring to shop but they are telling me that it needs to reset the computer box. does it something to do with computer box?

One more question. When you say trying to start do you mean the engine cranks over and does not start or do you get nothing at all when trying to start vehicle ?

Can you help me understand something. I have seen people put the wrong key in the ignition and it gets stuck but from what you are saying it was the key that you always used to start the vehicle. What I do not understand is how did the right get stuck in the ignition in the first place ? Because if it did you have a bad ignition switch.

The first time I put lube in there I bought a new key solved problem. was pricey...Its only been about 2 -3 months and its doing it again. It cost me around $75 for a new one...
