2013 HYUNDAI ELANTRA TURN SINGAL STUCK

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My left turn signal arrow on the dashboard stays on solid when the lights are on
or the running lights are on. And it goes away when they are turned off. It
doesn't flash either of course. The right side (front and rear) flash very fast. Any
idea what the cause maybe? Thanks in advance.

You have grounding issues, on the left side for sure, as far as the hyper flash it could be a bulb issue maybe cross connect but don’t rule out grounds also.

This is a bad ground for the instrument cluster. As for the fast flashing check your light bulbs on the right side. If they're all working, fixing the bad ground may fix that problem as well. If you have an aftermarket stereo, check there first for the bad ground. Hope that helps! Jim

On most vehicle wiring it is set up to flash rapidly to alert the driver of a bad bulb.
