Indicators work intermittently

Asked by TrueArtemis Dec 07, 2008 at 12:41 AM about the 1986 BMW 3 Series

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I indicate it does not work sometimes at all, or will come on for a few flicks and then stop working while still in position.  What to do?

It sounds like there is a short in your wiring. Have a mecvhanically inclined freind or mechanic take a look at it.

Not a short, it's a sticky relay. A short will blow a fuse. Best catch up on electrical skills buddy...hehe
