A few days ago my gascap light came onmy 2010 chrysler sebring and I adjusted the cap and it went off then yesterday the check engine light came on and my car is hesitating for a moment

....okay you filled it beyond the first click...floodin' the canister...the evaporative emissions system is so aggressive that it throws up a CEL and interferes with the air/fuel mix because it's now a fuel/fuel mix...see?

Ok I filled up a week ago, but that doesn't explain the hesitation I am having at take off.Also will the check engine light go off?
