when I put my key in it won't start and the acceroire light stays on?

I put my key into the switch to start the engine and It won't turn over, and the accseroire light stays on

Sounds like either the ignition cylinder itself, or the electronic ignition switch, have taken a dump. Suggest replacing the electronic switch first.
